VINIFICATION

soft pressing of the hand-picked grapes, in horizontal membrane presses and low temperature fermentation in heat-conditioned steel tanks.
In the spring following the harvest, the wine is bottled. After 24 months from refermentation, remuage, degorgement and packaging are carried out.
Franciacorta Satèn differs from other Franciacortas for a lower pressure in the bottle, which determines its peculiar gustatory softness.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS

very fine and persistent perlage, almost creamy, intense yellow color with greenish colors.
Nuanced but decisive scent of ripe fruit, accompanied by delicate notes of dried fruit, including toasted ones.
On the palate: a pleasant sapidity and freshness harmonize with an innate softness.

RECOMMENDED COMBINATIONS

aperitifs and throughout the meal, exceptional with baked pasta, delicate risottos and fish-based dishes. It goes very well with important dishes whose strong flavors are well balanced by its freshness.
